Some success stories had small beginnings. Some are eerie but they just happened. Google founders built the search engine giant in a garage. Now, Google is one of best workplaces in the world. It is a multibillion dollar firm that revolutionized online business and marketing. Other businesses large and small are now anchored on Google for their business operations. Facebook was built by a Harvard student in an apartment room. Now, Facebook has more than 800 million users. If it is a country, the population is the third largest in the world, next to China and India. Its founder Mark Zuckerberg is the fastest rising young billionaire in the world. Social networking, because of Facebook, has become a daily habit for many.
E.C. Ortiz & Co., LLP is not as big as Google or Facebook. But it also had a humble beginning. The founder, Edilberto C. Ortiz, started the firm in the basement of his apartment building in Chicago, Illinois in 1974. From a sole proprietorship, it has grown into a partnership of CPAs sharing visions to serve clients with high quality professional services. In 2003, the firm was restructured to become a limited liability partnership. Its mission centers on knowledge and understanding of client’s industries and their operations. From that, it has built a dynamic professional team that achieves growth through commitment and the pursuit of continual professional development. The focus is customer satisfaction. Now, E.C. Ortiz & Co., LLP is now currently one of the largest CPA Asian American Firms in the US.
