Today a year ago, dokwayne.com was launched with no idea in mind what to post, how, and why. Dokwayne was supposedly docwayne, taken from “wayne,” my nickname that I based it on the name of a good friend. Wayne can be the shortened form of Sherwin. Dok is from the word doctor. I am a Doctor of Philosophy which I earned in 2007 with a major in Business Administration.
One year of blogging was a challenge. It’s a year of testing whether or not to continue writing. Today is a day of evidence that I came to enjoy blogging. I made it for a year and maybe I can make it in two, three or more years. I hope so.
In a year I also posted more than a hundred posts. There were months that I barely wrote because of time constraints. My life has changed a bit. I will continue to write more in the months or years to come. I never imagined myself as a blogger or a writer. The benefits are enormous. When you know that people get information from you, you are elated. Self-expression is truly satisfying.
