This year’s CBA Day was held last August 6 at the CdD-Arzadon Gym, Leisure coast resort, Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City. As expected, CBA day was filled with the most anticipated events. At the inception of the celebration, students composed of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy majors, BS Hotel Restaurant majors, BS Business Administration majoring in Financial Management, Marketing Management and Human Resources Development Management, and BS Office Management majors queued in a registration and the stringent ticket verification. There were approximately 1,300 students attended the event.
After a morning program of inducting officers of the different students organizations, parlor games followed. The games were crucial as they were included in the ranking of the divisions of CBA — HRM1, HRM2, BSA, & BSBA– which commenced last July 31, 2010 in the “Sports Fest.” BSBA division is the overall champion of the sports fest. I belong to that division.
The afternoon programs were worth the wait. Singing idol 2010 filled the gym with voices soft and loud, melodious and raucous sounds. Ms. Gay CBA 2010 was so amusing. Candidate #6 was gifted with natural humor. He or she (?) amused everyone in the gym ( you spiced up the event “Diva”).
The much awaited and anticipated, glamorous parade of beauties both masculinity and femininity made the evening hot yet crisp. The event had a cast of deserving judges: 2 chefs, 2 CPAs, and an engineer. Joana Louise Dela Vega was crowned Ms. CBA 2010 and John Michael Sanchez is the new Mr. CBA.
Docwayne is one of the three organizers or overall chairpersons. The other two were Ma’am Yas and Ma’am Vinia. Congratulations CBA! Happy CBA Day!
